Horses
Generally aftercare will consist of rest for 2-3 days, allow the horse to be himself i.e. turn him out if he doesn't run the fences, or doesn't get upset by others coming in and out past him, or else just stick to his normal routine but no ridden work for 2 days.
Then there is limited exercise for 2 days, and a return to full work within a week.
Several treatments may be required and yearly or six monthly check ups are advised to help achieve optimum work performance.
