Generally
after treatment, we would recommend a period of quiet and / or rest & warmth
with limited exercise. Then a few days of restricted exercise, lead work
only, allowing your dog to go steadily, gradually restoring their normal
exercise regime.
Other recommendations would be to stop dogs jumping in and out of the car,
to help them do this; try to reduce the number of steps they have to climb;
if you have laminate / wood / stone floors which are slippy, try to either
keep the dogs off these temporarily, or cover them up with rugs etc; and to
restrict the time dogs spend on sofa / bed
